Wisler Pearlstine Elects Two New Partners

Wisler Pearlstine, LLP is pleased to announce that Rhonda K. Grubbs and Andrew R. Freimuth have been elected to partnership in the firm.

Rhonda K. Grubbs is a labor and employment attorney and a member of the firm’s Education Law Group. She helps both private and public employers find practical solutions to their employment-related problems. Ms. Grubbs frequently acts as a de facto human resources department for small and medium-sized employers who do not have the means to allocate resources to a full-time professional in this area. She has a unique combination of knowledge and skills in both labor and employment and employee benefits law. She counsels public and private employers in a broad range of day-to-day labor and employment matters, including disability and family and medical leave issues, compliance with wage and hour laws, and harassment and discrimination investigations.

Ms. Grubbs is experienced in drafting social media and other employment-related policies, employee handbooks, employment agreements, and separation agreements. She advises employers on implementation of the Affordable Care Act, as well as matters related to the design, administration, and taxation of health and other welfare benefit plans. Ms. Grubbs focuses on compliance with the statutory and regulatory rules relating to such plans, including ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code.

Ms. Grubbs is a member of the Montgomery County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. Ms. Grubbs received her law degree, cum laude, in 2003 from Temple University School of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Temple Law Review. While attending law school she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Dolores K. Sloviter, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Andrew R. Freimuth is a member of the firm’s Municipal Law and Real Estate, Zoning and Land Development practice groups. He has extensive experience in real estate, land use, municipal law, and zoning matters, representing individuals, businesses, institutions, municipalities, and nonprofit groups. Mr. Freimuth has represented clients in each and every phase of the real estate transaction including structuring, preparing and negotiating agreements of sale, obtaining zoning land use, subdivision and land development approvals, and land use litigation. He represents buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate and private developers seeking to fully develop and utilize their property. Mr. Freimuth has a strong track record of success in obtaining development and zoning approvals from zoning hearing boards, planning commissions, and municipalities throughout the five county area of southeastern Pennsylvania. He has extensive experience and expertise handling all matters governed by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. Mr. Freimuth also assists clients with the formation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies.

In addition to his general real estate practice, Mr. Freimuth also performs all aspects of local government representation for various township, borough, authority and zoning hearing board clients, including frequent attendance at public meetings and hearings, the preparation and negotiation of complex contracts, leases and land development agreements, and municipal code enforcement. He has been involved in numerous intricate public financing projects and sophisticated land acquisition and preservation matters of behalf of both municipal and private clients.

Mr. Freimuth is a member of the Montgomery County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. A 2002 graduate of Trinity College, Mr. Freimuth received his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2006.
