Mr. Freimuth has represented clients in each and every phase of the real estate transaction including structuring, preparing and negotiating agreements of sale, obtaining zoning land use, subdivision and land development approvals, and land use litigation. He represents buyers and sellers of residential, commercial, and industrial real estate and private developers seeking to fully develop and utilize their property.

Mr. Freimuth has a strong record of success in obtaining development and zoning approvals from zoning hearing boards, planning commissions, and municipalities throughout the five county area of southeastern Pennsylvania. He has extensive experience and expertise handling all matters governed by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. Mr. Freimuth also assists clients with the formation of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and other business entities.

In addition to his general real estate practice, Mr. Freimuth performs all aspects of local government representation for various township, borough, authority, and zoning hearing board clients, including frequent attendance at public meetings and hearings, the preparation and negotiation of complex contracts, leases, and land development agreements, and municipal code enforcement. Mr. Freimuth has been involved in numerous intricate public financing projects and sophisticated land acquisition and preservation matters on behalf of both municipal and private clients. He was recently included in the 2024 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for Land Use and Zoning, Municipal, and Real Estate Law.

  • Successfully represented landowner throughout the land development and zoning process to permit the construction of a 4,100 square foot warehouse addition.
  • Successfully obtained rezoning, zoning approval, and land development approval for developer in connection with 48 unit townhouse development.
  • Represented homeowner in successful zoning application to obtain approval to construct addition to home.
  • Successfully represented large corporation in obtaining zoning relief for the construction and opening of a new supermarket.
  • Represented “start-up” business in the successful acquisition of real estate and liquor license in order to open a new restaurant and bar business.
  • Negotiated short-term and long-term public-private partnerships on behalf of municipal clients resulting in significant capital improvements with minimal cost to taxpayers.
  • Successfully assisted municipal and school district clients in public financing matters, including the issuance of hundreds of millions of dollars of bonds.
