Carla Marino concentrates her practice in all aspects of Family Law, including, but not limited to. pre-nuptial and post-nuptial planning and agreements, divorce, equitable distribution/sharing of assets, child custody, support for a spouse and/or children, property/marital settlements, and all related litigation and mediation of Family Law issues.

Ms. Marino began her career at Georgetown University Law Center, earning a fellowship with the Council on State Taxation (COST) located in Washington, D.C. While pursuing her Master of Laws in taxation, she worked with COST to preserve and promote equitable and nondiscriminatory state taxation of multi-jurisdiction entities.

Ms. Marino is involved in pro bono work for custody issues and is affiliated with the Women’s Resource Center in Wayne, Pa. She practices the Collaborative Divorce Process, which provides alternative resolution options for the divorce process and agreements, and is a member of the Amicable Divorce Network. Additionally, Ms. Marino provides legal services for non-traditional families to resolve their domestic issues.

Ms. Marino frequently lectures for professional groups on topics related to domestic law such as: the Collaborative Divorce Process, tax issues, recent rule changes, and panel discussions. She was the featured speaker on Domestic Law and Mediation at Rosemont College where she is an adjunct professor in the undergraduate and graduate programs of its Sociology Department. Ms. Marino previously served as a teaching ADR contributor for the PBA Case Notes on topics such as ERISA and Pennsylvania law for beneficiary designations and Pennsylvania’s strict standard requirements for opening adoption records.

Ms. Marino is a compassionate advocate for her clients whether in litigation, negotiations, discussions or ADR practice. She is empathetic to the stressful and emotional impact of these matters on her clients while being efficient and clear-cut. Ms. Marino strives to reach her clients’ goals through the various pathways of family law issues, procedures and discussions.
